Jeffrey J. Walker

Jeffrey J. Walker, age 58, of Dayton Tennessee formerly of Mahanoy City, passed away November 21,  2023 at Park Ridge Hospital in Chattanooga TN.  Born at the former Locust Mountain  Hospital he was the son of Mary Ann (Swatsky) Walker of Mahanoy City and the late Clayton E. Walker.  He was a 1983 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and had been employed in several factories and plants in  his short life.  Surviving in addition to his mother is his companion Donna Moyle,   two sons Justin and his wife Amy of Mt. Carmel, and Steven and his wife  Samantha of Dayton TN, a sister Deborah Ann Walker of Mahanoy City and a brother Michael and his companion May of Barnesville, and 3 granddaughters Aubrey, Emma and Ensley.  Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Monday morning December 18, 2023 at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.   The Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher will officiate.  Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 10 AM until time of service.  Contributions in his name to the ACTION Youth Group would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.
